Asian Metal visits Winning International Group, Alton Resources and Otellus Enterprise

On December 12th, Friday Gao, Asian Metal's Senior Analyst and Base Metal Department Manager, visited Winning International Group, Alton Resources International Pte Ltd. and Otellus Enterprise in Singapore.

On that morning, Mr. Gao firstly met with Daniel Sudiono, General Manager of Otellus Enterprise, and its copartner Mr. Herrie. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on the international bauxite market. Otellus engages in bauxite trading and currently is able to supply bauxite from Bintan, Indonesia.

Mr. Gao also met with Tong Wong, General Manager of Alton Resources International Pte Ltd. on that morning. The two sides had a conversation about the import of alumina and bauxite market.

Alton Resources engages in alumina and bauxite trading and is able to supply bauxite from Montenegro and Indonesia currently. In the first half of 2017, the company exported some Vietnam-origin alumina to China.

During the meeting, Mr. Gao introduced the 9th World Aluminum Raw Summit to be held by Asian Metal in Jinan, Shandong of China, on May 17-18, 2018.

In the afternoon, Mr. Gao visited Winning International Group and talked with Vice President Sun Zhijun and Sales Executive Sheng Weixing. Mr. Sun disclosed that Winning International Group will transport 30 million tons of bauxite from Guinea in 2017 and plans to increase the amount to about 40 million tons next year.

Mr. Sheng revealed that they have begun to sell a small amount of Guinean bauxite apart from supplying to SMB-WAP for internal use, and they expect to increase sales in 2018.

Mr. Sun showed strong interest in the 9th World Aluminum Raw Material Summit to be held in Jinan on May 17-18, 2018, and expressed intention of deep cooperation with Asian Metal.
